Professor Wei Zhou is a professor of agricultural hybrid breeding research at Florida A&M University and serves as Chief Technology Officer of Emerging Holdings, Inc. He holds a Ph.D. in Agronomy and has approximately 20 years of experience in plant breeding and molecular biology.
Since 2005, Professor Zhou has worked in interdisciplinary and international research environments including the International Rice Research Institute, University of Missouri–Columbia, and the University of Arkansas. He has also led hybrid breeding and seed production projects for rice and corn at Syngenta.
Dr. Junhua Guo, President of Emerging Holdings, Inc., has more than ten years of experience in U.S. capital markets, including early-stage securities financing, corporate mergers and acquisitions, IPO operations, financial reporting, and legal financing documentation.
Dr. Guo has participated in multiple pre-financing and corporate structuring projects and also serves as a tenured professor at California State University.
Emerging Holdings, Inc. is currently working to obtain the required land use permits for its agricultural property in Cuyama Valley, Santa Barbara County, California. The permits will support the development of facilities for the cultivation of organic oyster mushrooms and high-value herbal plants.
